About the Author

He has extensive experience in teaching, research and consultancy and has written numerous articles and books in the areas of strategic management, business logistics and purchasing and supply chain management. In 2003 he received the Hans Ovelgönne Award from the International Federation of Purchasing and Supply Management (IFPSM) for his outstanding academic contribution in the area of purchasing and supply management.
