Charles Perry is a Senior Manager with Deloitte & Touche Consulting Group, an international consulting and education firm specializing in the areas of Just-In-Time, Total Quality Control, Automation, and Systems Implementation. Mr. Perry has over 25 years of experience in manufacturing within different industries.
Mr. Perry is a certified professional (CPIM), active in APICS, the American Production and Inventory Control Society. Additionally, Mr. Perry holds a B.S. in Industrial Management from the University of Alabama and an MBA in Finance from Alabama A&M University.
His industry experience began in Materials Management, where he was quickly recognized for his abilities in inventory and lead-time reduction, as well as past due shipment improvements. After spending five years in Operations Management, where he was successful in various Just-in-Time implementations and major cost reductions projects that were instrumental in improving under-performing businesses, he moved into General Management. Here he spent ten years as General Manager or President of major divisions of Fortune 500 companies. During this period he was sought out for his abilities to develop comprehensive cost reduction programs combined with manufacturing improvements and strategy development that consistently improved top line revenue growth as well as net income performance. During his career he has worked with such companies as ITT Industries, Schlumberger, Chrysler, and Allied Signal.
