Purging Generational Curses: Hurt People Hurt People

Are you dealing with some trauma that has been affecting you since you were a child? Did you have no one to reach out to, or was there not someone who cared enough to understand your emotions? Do you have a mental illness that you suffer with, and you find yourself being misunderstood a lot by society? Some of us are walking around with trauma that has festered from a child up into adulthood. We don't always have someone who understands what we are going through, or people that we feel safe enough to confide in. Personally, I had no one who could understand things that I dealt with, I couldn't even understand what I was going through. This was until I opened up the Bible, And I asked God to help me heal my past trauma. The further I read, the more clear my mind became. God began to reveal things to me that I had not acknowledged over the years, but was heavily weighing down on me. There was no other way that I could have gotten the healing that I did, so my purpose is to help you all find healing within yourselves and your families, let's purge these generational curses, so that we can begin the healing process within ourselves.

My name is Jasmine Johnson, and I am a 25-year-old college graduate from Michigan State University. I earned a BA degree, and my field was Interdisciplinary studies, with a minor in human behavior and social services. I am adopted, and I have a twin sister that was adopted with me, but we don't know any other biological relatives personally. I wanted to know about my birth parents and my family history as I got older, so I asked my mom for information and she gave me a name. That led me to looking up my potential family, but after being rejected, I stopped thinking about my origin. I still have my wonders, and after reading the Bible, and getting more into God, he led me to the answers that I was looking for. Not only that, he healed my depression and helped me to unpack my trauma, which led me to being the person I am today. I am very grateful to have God in my life, and I just want to share the gift of him with everyone who wants a healed mind. I want to not only help individuals, but families in general. My purpose from God is to heal the minds of others, and my degree is helping me do that by writing this book for you all.
