Item description from seller

Frontis-piece with the tissue guard intact, [8], 249pp, bound in illustrated green cloth, with the gilt still bright, binding and hinges tight. The book shows foxing to outer page edges and preliminary pages. This book had a brown paper cover over it, which protected the covers and gilt wonderfully, but had been pasted inside the covers, so there is now some paper peel inside the front and back covers.
