Our imprints include Design Originals, IMM Lifestyle Books, Creative Homeowner, and Heliconia Press. Publishers Weekly has named Fox Chapel Publishing a "Top 10 Fastest Growing Independent Publisher" four times since 2006.
Contributor Lora S. Irish is an internationally known artist and author, whose acclaimed books include Great Book of Carving Patterns, Great Book of Celtic Patterns, Great Book of Dragon Patterns, Great Book of Tattoo Designs, The Official Vampire Artist's Handbook, Relief Carving Wood Spirits, World Wildlife Patterns for the Scroll Saw, and many more. Fox Chapel Publishing has sold more than 500,000 copies of Irish's books. Lora is also a frequent contributor to Woodcarving Illustrated and to Scroll Saw Woodworking and Crafts magazines.
Contributor Simon Easton earned a BA (Hons) degree at Manchester Metropolitan University where he studied woodturning, silversmithing, and pewterware. His pewter napkin ring set was one of the MMU winners of the Pewter Live 1999 competition, and was displayed at Pewterers' Hall in London. He has won both a Precious Metals Bursary and a Grant from the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths in order to produce design concepts that he had developed. The common theme in Simon's work was a decorative and textural feel, often rich in embellishment or pattern.
Contributor Minisa Robinson worked as a graphic artist and publisher before becoming a self-taught pyrographic artist. Her artwork reflects her appreciation of the Rocky Mountains and the wildlife that lives there. Minisa has created four instructional pyrography DVDs and is a frequent contributor to Pyrography magazine. Learn more about her art at minisa-pyrography.com.
Contributor Michele Parsons, the founder of Parsons Wood Artistry, has been immersed in art and nature her entire life. She spent her childhood drawing and wandering in the woods, exploring nature. Finding a way to combine these interests resulted in her gravitating toward creating art in wood—woodcarving and pyrography. Both of these art forms give Michele a connection to trees, both in the peaceful sound of carving wood and the primal smell of burning wood. Gifted with an ability to teach others, Michele has spent years teaching workshop-based pyrography classes and writing for Pyrography Magazine. She receives personal satisfaction when students learn pyrography and are excited about their newly found interest. To help students, especially in remote areas, Michele started selling pyrography equipment and accessories at discounted pricing. The result is Parsons Wood Artistry creating The Pyrography Store (TM).
Contributor Jo Schwartz is an internationally known, self-taught pyrographer and owner/artist of Burning Tree Art Gallery in Abilene, Kansas. She is a frequent contributor to Pyrography magazine.
