The book is designed to serve as a textbook for courses offered to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in data science. Muddana A Lakshmi received a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Osmania University, Hyderabad. She is currently a professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at GITAM Deemed to be University, Hyderabad, India. She has been in academics, teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students and guiding research scholars in the areas of Deep Learning and Security.

Sandhya Vinayakam received a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Osmania University, Hyderabad. She is currently in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at GITAM Deemed to be University, Hyderabad, India.
