马强，美国移民律师，加州律师协会会员，全美移民律师协会会员，圣地亚哥大学法学博士。祖籍山东，1977年考入广州外国语学院，主修英美文学，是中国"文化大革命"结束后通过全国统一考试被正式录取的第一届大学生。1981年毕业后由国家分配到北京中国电影合作制片公司，任翻译兼电影合作制片人。1989年8月来美留学，由美国著名导演贝托鲁奇推荐，进入加州大学洛杉矶分校主修电影制作和导演，一年后转到圣地亚哥大学法学院学习。1994年5月毕业，获法学博士学位，同年获美国律师资格证书。1995年开业，同时在洛杉矶和圣地亚哥开设了自己的律师事务所，专门从事移民法律事务。他擅长写作，在繁忙的业务之余，为国内外多加中文报刊撰写了大量移民法律知识专题讲座。他还经常被邀请到洛杉矶中文广播电台和电视台主持专题节目，为现场听众、观众解答移民问题，颇受欢迎。"帮助一个出门在外的人，等于获得一个永久的朋友"是他始终坚持的经营原则。他翻译出版了莎士比亚十四行诗全译本。《马不停蹄》是他的第一本文集。
