pp1 - 19, numerous illus, printed in double columns, final page only in photocopy, salvaged from a damaged copy of Harper's New Monthly Magazine, Volume LXV, #385, June, 1882. Yarmouth, England, and the herring industry. Illus include salt marshes, shrimp and shrimper, mending herring nets, seat made from whale's vertebra, an ingenious reading desk, tower on the wall, the toll house, coffee room in an old Yarmouth inn, a Yarmouth row, fish wharf in herring season, cabin of smack, Yarmouth wherries, bringing home the cutter, hauling in herring nets, and the fisherman's hospital. Very scarce.
