Silver hardcover leatherette boards with green lettering shows color loss at still sharp tips, internally fine with name on fep. 199 pp. Only 2,200 copies of the Silver Anniversary edition of The Blood-Horse were originally published. This reprint has additions to include all winners of American stakes races foaled from 1916 through 1940 and the selection dealing with stallions has been updated to include the entire stud record of each sire.
