Didier David, better known as Cromwell, was a member of Asylum, a group of young artists and scriptwriters in the 1980s. He cooperated on 'Mondes Engloutis', an animated series for France 2. A comic version appeared at Casterman in 1985 and 1986.The book is a collection of illustrations, sketches, and oil paintings by the artist, offering a glimpse into his personal world and subversive style. It features previously unpublished works as well as material related to his popular comics, such as Anita Bomba and Minettos Desperados.The book is considered Cromwell's first major art book, later followed by End Zone.
