[48] p. 18 x 22.5 cm. oblong Sound and square reinforced library binding in illustrated boards. Slight musty smell. Light moisture stain on bottom fore-corner of upper board. Slight soil to the boards. Top edge of text block has light foxing. The endpapers have a few speckles of soil and there is a previous owner's name on the front free endpaper. Otherwise, the inside pages are clean and unmarked. Dust jacket has edge wear, including chips, and tiny tears and creases. Light soil to the panels and folds. Price clipped. A French translation of Sesyle Joslin's 1958 children's book "What Do You Say, Dear". Illustrated by Maurice Sendak. This book was a Caldecott Medal Honor winner when first published in English.
