Michael Peace is a specialist trainer of young and problem horses. He works extensively with top horsemen all over the world, including Olympic show jumpers. Lesley Bayley has specialized in equestrian journalism for seventeen years, with thirteen books to her credit. Together, the authors previously collaborated on Think Like Your Horse.

Michael Peace graduated from the British Racing School in Newmarket and later gained a National Diploma in Thoroughbred Management. He is one of only 10 people in the world to hold the Monty Roberts Advanced Certificate. He now lectures at universities and colleges throughout Europe and is the author, again with Lesley Bayley, of Think Like Your Horse, also published by David & Charles. Michael lives in Kidlington, Oxfordshire. Lesley Bayley has specialised in equestrian journalism for 18 years. She has written 14 books and contributed to many more. She was editor of Your Horse magazine before moving to the NFU's Countryside magazine. She is currently training to be an Equine Muscle Release Therapy practitioner and a Bowen Technique practitioner. Lesley lives in Stamford, Lincolnshire.
