He has 37 years of experience in UG as well as PG teaching and research. He has published more than 32 research articles in nationally and internationally reputed journals. His involvement and commitment in Electronics formed a vision in itself that obliged many educational institutions in Tamilnadu to start courses on Electronics in their UG and PG stream to which his contribution is noteworthy. He has been associated with the apex and important bodies of higher education viz. UGC, NAAC, Central and State Universities and autonomous institutions in various capacities. He had formerly been the President of the Principal?s Association of Colleges in the Bharathiar University region and Vice-President of the All India College Principal?s Association. Presently, he is a member of Syndicate, Senate and Standing Committee of Academic Affairs of Bharathiar University.
