This is a book for everyone - in the Church and outside it - who believes that there is a ministry of Christian healing, and who wants to know how it can be applied to a variety of situations. The advice is practical, biblically illustrated and thoughtfully balanced. It is organized around a series of questions, to which Gareth Tuckwell, a doctor, and David flagg, a priest, respond. Both have worked at the Burrswood Christian Centre for Medical and Spiritual Care in the south-east of England. Among the subjects addressed are the importance of touch, the value of teamwork, cancer, "pills of prayer?", healing miracles, the death of a loved one, alternative therapies, M.E., eating disorders, inner healing and living with suffering. The authors' advice is highly practical, biblically illustrated and thoughtfully balanced.
