STUDY MODES

The QuickPass provides four different Study Modes (Chapter Study Mode, Chapter Exam Mode, Random Study Mode, and Random Exam Mode) to help you prepare for your CSLB exam. Exam Modes also include Timed and Untimed options for a realistic testing experience.

Study Mode

Choose Study Mode to learn and reinforce the material. As you progress through each exam, you'll immediately see which questions you answered correctly or incorrectly. Detailed explanations are provided for most questions to help strengthen your understanding and improve knowledge retention.

Exam Mode

Choose Exam Mode to simulate the actual licensing exam. Receive your score after completing the test, skip and review questions before submitting, and practice with either timed or untimed testing options.

SUPPLEMENTAL PRINTED BOOK

The QuickPass includes a printed companion book for convenient offline studying. The book is divided into two sections to support both learning and review.

• The first section provides a comprehensive review of General Engineering license requirements, including planning and estimating, structural principles, earthwork, surveying, roadwork and paving, temporary traffic control, safety, and much more.
• The second section contains multiple-choice questions and answers designed to reinforce key concepts and evaluate your readiness for the California contractor licensing exam.
• Important Note: The most current practice questions and explanations are available in the QuickPass interactive online program. We strongly recommend using the online software as your primary study resource.
