Quiet like the Heart Navigating the Interior Terrain

These poems invite readers into the overlapping spaces of feelings, needs, and the unknown. It explores what it means to listen deeply - to ourselves and to one another - and to create from the quiet center where meaning emerges. At the heart of the book is the void: not emptiness, but fertile spaciousness. A place where unmet needs speak, where feelings find form, and where the unknown finds a creative voice.

Julia Lynn Gray focuses on the messy middle of our lives through spiritual direction, leadership coaching, and nonprofit consulting that specializes in organizational change. She spent 30 years of her professional life in executive leadership positions for nonprofit organizations. Julia currently finds herself in a fallow time; a liminal space between her professional career and what has not yet taken shape. The continuing nudge is toward writing. Journaling and reflection have long been a way to process emotions. This book is her first collection of poetry.
