In a full calf binding signed Nutt, with marbled edges and endpapers, five raised bands. Loss to the title label to the spine. Externally generally sound with some shelf wear and rubbing to the spine and extremities, minor scuffing to the spine and boards. Previous owner's inscription to the verso front free endpaper, dated 1854, crossed out in blue ink, as well as a more recent ownership inscription undated. Featuring neat marginal notes by a previous owner to the occasional leaf, occasional underlining. Internally, firmly bound.
