Edizione del 1680 di questa ristampa a cura di Carlo Porsile di tre celebri opere sulla città di Napoli quasi introvabili nelle loro edizioni originali. Il nostro esemplare risulta mancante del frontespizio e delle prime otto carte di dedica. La prima opera "Croniche de la inclita città de Napole" falsamente attribuita a Giovanni Villani venne originariamente pubblicata nel 1526. Racconta eventi storici della città dall'origine fino al 1343. La nostra copia reca l'emblema tipografico della Sirena non presente in tutte le copie. La seconda opera originariamente pubblicata nel 1569 a cura di Luigi Contarini, descrive le principali bellezze artistiche di Roma e Napoli. La terza opera descrive le principali antichità di Napoli. Scritta da Benedetto di Falco (1480-1540) venne originariamente pubblicata nel 1535. In buone condizioni. Copertina in mezza pelle ottocentesca con titolo in oro al dorso in mediocri condizioni generali con usure e mancanze ai margini e dorso. Piatto anteriore quasi staccato e posteriore staccato. Legatura in buone condizioni a parte le prime due pagine quasi staccate. All'interno le pagine si presentano in buone condizioni con rare fioriture. Frontespizio e prime otto pagine di dedica mancanti come anche pagina 9 dell'ultima opera. In 8. Dim. 19,5x15 cm. Our copy lacks of the title page and the first 8 page of dedication. The first work "Croniche de la inclita città de Napole" falsely attributed to Giovanni Villani was originally published inl 1526. He tells about hystorical events of the city from the origins to 1343. Our copy has the mark of mermaid at the end of the first work not present in al copies. The second work originally published in 1569 by Luigi Contarini, describes the artistic beauties of Rome and Naple The third work describes the main antiquities of Naples. It was written by Benedetto di Falco (1480-1540) and was originally published in 1535. In good conditions. Half leather cover of XIX century with gilted title in the spine in poor general conditions lightly worn in the extremities. Front palte almost detached and back plate detached. Binding in good conditions apart for the first two pages almost totally detached. Inside pages are in good conditions with occasional foxing.
