Octavo, cloth. First edition. First binding of pebbled blue cloth with spine panel stamped in gold. Burroughs-style interplanetary novel by a well-known pulp writer comprising the first book of the Myles Cabot on Venus series, first published as a serial in ARGOSY-ALL STORY, 28 June - 19 July 1924, and in book form in 1948 (both titled THE RADIO MAN) and reprinted as an Avon paperback in 1951 as AN EARTHMAN ON VENUS. Anatomy of Wonder (1981) 2-25 and (2004) II-386. Bleiler, Science-Fiction: The Early Years 693. In 333. A fine copy in nearly fine first state dust jacket (green and black ink on white paper stock) with light wear at edges, mainly spine ends and corners, and some dust soiling to rear panel.
