each vol. over 400 pp., marbled endpapers, sl.browning of half-titles & 1 t.p., otherwise internally all tight, clean & unmarked; Black leather sp. and black boards generally good with minimal shelf-wear, though spines of 2 vols rubbed; only damage is a worm hole of some kind to top hinge Vol.2 8 x 5 mm which pierces through to inside. A very acceptable set of this apparently scarce work nonetheless.
