4 (poorly reproduced) illustrations by Norman Lindsay. Blue boards with gilt lettering on the spine. Ex-library copy. Well rubbed and thumbed. Head and tail of spine bumped and worn. All corners bumped and showing heavy wear. Some scuff marks and staining on front and back cover. Front free endpaper carries library stamp and several numerical inscriptions. Previous bookseller's stamp on front paste down, as well as a School of Arts Library print out. Some tearing along binding at the front, as a whole the binding is neat and tidy, yet loosening. Contents page has library stamp. Book contains 134 pages plus another 10 pages of classified books published by The N.S.W Bookstall Co, including Norman Lindsay's book. Page edges are discoloured with staining and some scuff marks. Back pastedown has library stamp and two inscriptions. There is some splitting at the hinge of the binding at the back pastedown. Last page of chapter fifteen, start of chapter nine and, back free endpaper also have library stamp. Pages are lightly browned with age, else this book is in good condition. *We always describe the faults of our books meticulously but they usually present better than they sound.
