RECIPES & RUMINATIONS: Not one word about FLOATING BULLDOGS, PARIS HILTON OR DRAMATIC WEIGHT LOSS

Join Peggy Baseman as she takes us on an alternately hilarious and poignant journey through her world, often through the quirky prism of her kitchen. Dog testicular implants; raccoon home invasions; self-service salad bars; remodeling projects; mammograms; supermarket tabloids; dental visits; random acts of kindness; family Christmas celebrations; First Amendment rights; lost luggage; kids growing up; empty nesters and menopause; alternative energy; sickness and loss-are all explored in a voice which is a lot like the one sitting across from us at the kitchen table. Lots of recipes-some Mom made; some she'd never dare. Guaranteed. If there were even one word about Paris Hilton, this would go immediately to number one.
