First or early printing (I have seen some variations online), but not a modern reproduction. Shaped, die cut booklet, 16 unnumbered pages, wonderfully illustrated by Lydia Very and rich color lithography by L. Prang. Condition: minor wear to edges, more so to spine, some wear from handling, stray ink or pencil line on two facing pages, minor foxing, stab sewn binding and remains tightly bound, else unmarked & clean. A nice copy, considered the first American publication of a shaped book. Note the title is "Red Riding Hood" without the word "Little." Experienced full-time bookseller since 1994. Images may be added by request. Questions welcome.
