Beide auteurs van dit boek zijn geboren Antwerpenaren en zij zouden het spijtig vinden moest het bestaan van de legendarische Red Star Line uit de herinnering van huns stadsgenoten verdwijnen. Het is niet denkbeeldig dat de naam van de Red Star Line en van haar stichters in de vergeethoek geraakt. Dat zou werkelijk jammer zijn ! Dit werk is een poging om daaraan te verhelpen! De Rijnkaai, de Red-Star-Line boten en de landverhuizers zouden daarbij niet mogen vergeten worden. De honderdduizenden sjofele en armtierige emigranten, die hier in de loop de jaren gepasseerd zijn, zullen in de Red Star wellicht een ster van hoop gezien hebben voor een betere toekomst in de Nieuwe Wereld! 777 g.

Terms and conditions of sale
Books are offered if unsold. The order of incoming orders will be respected strictly.
The books that are offered online are not available at our bookshop at 48 Kloosterstraat.
You will receive an e-mail confirming the availability of the book(s) and providing details with regard to shipment costs (we use Belgian and Dutch postal companies for the most cost-effective shipments.
The indicated shipment costs have been calculated according to the rates for shipments of up to 2 kilo. We will choose the most cost-effective shipment option, depending on the weight: either letter post or parcel post.
Abe-books charge your Payment, we send only the book to your adress.
