f/piece+viii+103, 18 further plates ex-pagination; ex-lib.of The Society of Tropical Medicine & Hygiene with their donation label (from Dr G.C.Low) to front pastedown, cancelled square pruple stamp front endpaper, oval purple stamp centre t.p. plus impressed publisher's compliments stamp top same, no other internal marking and otherwise tight & clean; clean gilt-lettered brown cloth covers, gilt lib.logo bottom spine which is quite inoffensive, sp.ends slightly rubbed. Despite lib. provenance (which is of some interest) a very acceptable copy of this significant work.
