A scarce Indiana local history, with a wealth of information on prominent pioneer families. The resourceful Mrs. Lynch, who needed funds to create a family cemetery near her childhood home, collected biographical sketches from old timers in the three counties, solicited a multitude of local advertisers, and then had Lipes, Nelson & Singmaster (Decatur cigar box manufacturers) print 6000 copies of the book.
