BOOK DESCRIPTION: 8vo, xxi, 69 pgs. Facsimile Reproduction of the 1909 edition with a preface by Dr. Buford B. Hester. CONDITION DESCRIPTION: Fine in near fine slipcase. Interior is very clean and free of marks. CONTENTS DESCRIPTION: The author was an Assistant Adjutant General of the Confederate Army. This is a very well done reprinting of a rare Confederate narrative. He wrote more on the persons and their natures rather than details of battles, although he saw significant action.
