[RARE AND RENOWNED 2 BOOKS SERIES] 1929 PRINTING - The Forsyte Saga AND A Modern Comedy by John Galsworthy. Dark Green leather hardcovers with gilt stamping to the spine and front cover for both books, The Forsyte Saga and A Modern Comedy. Hardcovers have scuffing, rubbing, fading, and minor fraying. Headcap and endcap have moderate damage from usage and storage, but does not affect readability. Corners are bumped. Both books have deckled edges. Slight warping of The Forsyte Saga hardcover by the spine and crease and partial separation of the joint at the hinge and endpaper. Pages have toning and some staining. Small open tear as shown with dog-eared pages. The back endpaper and back folding plate have newspaper transfer from tipped-in cutout with author posing for a portrait bust. Back folding plate of the Forsyth Family Tree is in excellent condition with slight toning. Distinct shadows on the front endpaper from possible multiple newspaper cut-outs or folded cut-outs which are no longer present or included. Small open tear as shown with dog-eared pages and crease. Partial open tear bookplate on back endpaper. Shipping terms
Items are fully insured and will be shipped with tracking and insurance wherever possible. If applicable all additional delivery charges, payments, or delivery times will be be provided prior to contract. Where such charges cannot be calculated in advance, the manner in which these charges will be calculated will be provided for you. Please contact CustomerService@TreasuresRenewed.com to schedule for local pick-up of large orders or bundle orders in Antelope Valley.
Delivery will be deemed to have occurred when the books have been delivered to the delivery address as per the order and you (or someone identified by you) have taken physical possession of the books and at which point the book is owned by you. For any orders that are returned to our address due to inability to deliver, we will contact you requesting a rearrangement of the delivery.
Treasures Renewed assumes responsibility for the books until delivery to you or allocated person is complete and will then be passed onto you. If you request your own shipping carrier, the responsibility of transport remains with you and your chosen carrier.
