About the Author
Brian Michael Good, an Author, Writer, Entrepreneur, Peace Advocate,Spearhead Thinker, Paradigm Shifter, Genius, Empath, and Savant. He has lived a life buffeted by character-altering hurricanes. His life storms began in his trauma-filled childhood within his dysfunctional family.
He dealt with a near-fatal suicide attempt, depression, PTSD, the death of two siblings, a childhood of verbal, physical, andsexual abuse. A bit further on in life, there was the stigma of being homeless not once, but three times. Diagnosed with a six-pound cancerous tumor that was doubling in size every two months. A suicide attempt in 2003 nearly cost him his life. The death of his best friend, divorce, and the rejection of his only daughter was to follow.
Psychics and people of faith say that we all come back, and some of us comeback to teach a lesson. The homeless person on the street has sacrificed their life to teach compassion and tolerance to others. The homeless person, if he or she would know this, might ask, why should I try to improve my life if I came back to suffer to teach this lesson?
The answer is that if one is spiritual, the suffering is only part of the lesson. The most important part is to overcome. We must examine our flaws and try to fix them. Then, in the next chapter of our life, we come back to a better existence.
How can one person encounter so many hurricanes, survive them, learn from them, and then strive to make the world around him a better place? This was the question Brian asked himself that led to this book. Brian has a deep sense of compassion and empathy for others; social virtues that he values most in his life.
What I have learned from my personal experience can give you hope. You are not alone, and you are not forgotten. Your life will improve. Peace and happiness are reserved for those who seek it. By choosing to read one of my self-help motivational books, you may have a fulfilling and happy life like I do.
