Boards a bit sunned, spine label browned and lightly chipped, but still readable "Klein's Rheinreise, Zweite Auflage". Neat notation with black ink, on first blank page, dated 1837. Bookplate. Two illustrations and two steel engraved fold out maps. Very light browning to a few single pages, not affecting contents.; This book is the expanded and revised edition of Professor J. A. Klein's Rheinreise. Converted into a guidebook by the legendary bookdealer of Coblenz, Germany - Karl Baedeker. The first book to bear his original name Bädeker, and the precursor of the entire series. A virtually unique publication - extremely rare; 16mo 6" - 7" tall; 517 pages.

Domestic Shipping:
Standard orders are shipped via USPS Media Mail and can be expected within 2 weeks. Expedited shipping takes 3 - 4 days and is sent via USPS Priority or UPS, depending on your location. Express shipping will arrive within 1 - 2 days and will be shipped via UPS.
International Shipping:
Whenever possible orders will be sent via DHL for a fast and reliable experience and a quick customs clearance. All shipments can be expected to be delivered anywhere in the world within a week. On rare occasions VAT or a small custom fee is due.
Heavier shipments will be sent by USPS or Pirateship, a shipping consolidator. Those packages are delivered within a month but sometimes it can take slightly longer.
