Leon David Bess is a retired trial lawyer living with his wife Debby on their Verde River Morgan Horse Ranch in Camp Verde, Arizona. They have six horses, a miniature burro, three dogs, and a rooster that sits on the front porch all day. Leon's long time friend, John O?Malley, recently said to him: "You used to shovel bullshit; now you shovel horseshit."
