Colour and b/w plates by Paul Stewart, colour and b/w photographs. Covers slightly rubbed and creased but good second-hand paperback. A Ring of Wessex Waters describes the rivers and fishing of Hampshire, Wiltshire and Dorset, and covers both coarse angling and game fishing. The first hundred pages are about the Hampshire Avon, upper, middle and lower; the remainder of the book is about the rivers Wylie, Nadder, Bourne, Ebble, Beaulieu, Stour, Allen, Piddle and Frome. With much on the history of the region and especially of its salmon fishing, the book was published shortly after the author's death. Illustrated with 13 colour plates and 72 text photographs. .
