Tan cloth covers with a black fish illustration on the front cover and spine and black lettering on the spine. All are clean and unmarked. Covers exhibit heavy soiling on edges, corners and spine ends. Light shelf wear and soiling to covers. Light yellowing to inside front and back cover, ffep's, bfep's and text due to age. Text and the many very nice full page b&w illustrations are otherwise clean and unmarked. Hinges are tight. Nicely illustrated dj is in a protective mylar cover with multiple small tears, chips, creasing and moderate soiling to edges, corners and spine ends. Light wear and soiling to hinges. Moderate soiling and shelf wear to covers and spine. A month by month description of fishing. "From January, searching for steelhead in the dark, cold water, to May and the sea-run cutthroats, to the October run of spawning salmon, he takes you from river to river, down at last to salt water and sea."
