ROCKERAS DE LA A A LA Z . GRANDES ARTISTAS FEMENINAS

Women have been a part of rock culture since its beginnings. With immense talent, virtuosity, personality, and commanding presence, iconic figures like Janis Joplin, Patti Smith, and Tina Turner etched their names in gold in the history of music. And they did so by fighting tooth and nail against a society that long denied them the crucial role they played in the cultural world. Rock would not be what it is today without the powerful influence of all the women who helped shape a musical genre tied to rebellion and generational defiance. This book, written by brilliant music journalist Anabel Vélez and illustrated by the magical brush of Moixonada, explores the key names of artists and bands who, throughout history, have made rock the music we love.
