An extensive Canadian sporting guide with much on angling for salmon and trout, camping, hunting, and folklore, illustrated with charming line drawings. George Moore Fairchild was a knowledgeable Quebec chronicler, and this excellent work of his is rarely encountered. BRUNS F4. Original marbled wrappers printed in black on front cover. Wrappers a bit chipped and creased, spine partially split with minor chipping and small repairs. Tanned, later pencil annotation at head of titlepage. Good.
