MARIO COELHO is a writer who forays occasionally into the sinister and macabre. His specialty is writing stories for children and for the young at heart, in prose as well as in verse. He writes tales about ordinary folk along with those featuring ghosts, werewolves, vampires and other creepy creatures. He is also a singer, actor, lyricist and teacher of creative writing.
His first book, Moonlight and Shadow - Unsettling Tales, a collection of ten short stories of murder and intrigue, was published in 2024. The Twisted Child - Tales of the Unexpected (Goa1556), was released in January 2026. Mario lives in Goa with his wife, daughter and Shih Tzu, Mishti.

A former Delhiite turned New Yorker, SONALI AGARWAL holds a Master's degree in finance from Brandeis University and worked as an investment banker. An avid reader, she started writing fiction recently. As a fitness enthusiast, Sonali enjoys running races with her family.

SUNANDA KULKARNI followed in her illustrious father's footsteps to become a celebrated doctor. A gold medallist from the University of Mysore, she retired from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute as Professor and Head of Department, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and is currently associated with the Chinmaya Mission Hospital, Bengaluru. Dr Kulkarni has won several awards for her contribution to women's health and her humanitarian work. She has been published widely in Kannada, with her stories and articles being regularly featured in popular magazines and journals. For children, she has also written How Not To Get Wet In The Rain: 21 Tales For Tricky Times (Puffin Books, 2023).

Author, poet and translator, Deepa Agarwal writes for both children and adults. She received the N.C.E.R.T. National Award for Children's Literature in 1993 for her picture book Ashok's New Friends.

Cheryl Rao loves the thrill of travel and strange happenings and animals and adventures, which is why she writes stories about all these for children of all ages. Her recent published works include Dragons, Mermaids & Ghosts, Grandpa Finds a Friend and Other Rags Stories, Stay Out of the Basement and Adventures by the Dozen.
