Victorian guides to boating with oars, paddles and sails, blending history and practical advice and nicely illustrated with original line drawings, vignettes and full-page prints. One of the series of Captain Crawley's Handbooks. No date listed but believed to be from 1878. 8vo. 127pp. Cloth-covered boards with red-morrocco spine and corners. Boards rubbed to edges and corners, particularly to head of spine. Good condition internally. Very rare.
