RUIN, RAGE, AND DIRT ...and a Little Bit of Love

Ruin, Rage, and Dirt... and a Little Bit of Love is a raw, unfiltered journey through the darkest corners of human emotion. Featuring a curated selection of original verses personally adapted into English by Mexican poet Carlos Alberto Hernández Carreón, this collection delivers poems that carry the true weight of loss, the temperature of anger, and the gritty texture of reality.

Across 23 uncompromising anti-poems, Hernández Carreón explores toxic love, heartbreak, insomnia, social hypocrisy, and existential grief. From scathing critiques on war and media to tender, desperate pleas in the dark, this book offers no safe harbor-only the cathartic beauty of speaking uncomfortable truths.

Written for the dreamers, the brokenhearted, and those who wander through sleepless nights, these verses serve as a mirror for anyone who has ever survived a storm. Step into these pages and find a place to breathe within the dark.
