Vanesa Freixa Riba (Rialp, 1977) Il�lustradora i activista rural. Es va formar en Belles Arts a Barcelona i, posteriorment, va tornar al Pallars per impulsar diversos projectes de dinamitzaci� territorial. Va ser directora de l'Escola de Pastors durant vuit anys i de l’associaci� Obrador Xisqueta. Des del 2017, instal�lada en una borda a 1.400 metres d'altitud, es dedica a la il�lustraci� i a la reflexi� rural. Ha publicat el conte La Coloma, el Jan-roy i El misteri de Boumort, ha codirigit el document El no a l'os i col�labora en diversos mitjans. Tamb� t� un petit ramat d'una desena d'ovelles.
