In-8° (cm. 24,2x17,4), pp. 29. Bross. edit. finemente ornata. Privo del piatto postreriore, dorso rotto, interno immacolato in spessa carta forte, testo in ricche cornici di svolazzi calligrafici Merita un restauro, meglio una legatura d'amatore. CARCANO, nobile, patriota delle Cinque Giornate, autore di liriche risorgimentali della novella sentimentale "Ida della Torre" e del romanzo sentimentale "Angiola Maria" del 1839, di commovente morale quotidiana Maltrattato dai critici, ma di enorme successo (ben 12 edizioni in Italia e molte traduzioni; menzionato fin ne "Il Gattopardo") e di atmosfere alla Manzoni (che nel 1827 aveva dedicato a lui "promettente giovinetto" un esemplare dei Promessi Sposi), Censito in sole 3 bibl. Così com'è, meritevole di restauro, ma di lusso.
