CARCANO, nobile, patriota delle Cinque Giornate, autore di liriche risorgimentali della novella sentimentale "Ida della Torre" e del romanzo sentimentale "Angiola Maria" del 1839, di commovente morale quotidiana Maltrattato dai critici, ma di enorme successo (ben 12 edizioni in Italia e molte traduzioni; menzionato fin ne "Il Gattopardo") e di atmosfere alla Manzoni (che nel 1827 aveva dedicato a lui "promettente giovinetto" un esemplare dei Promessi Sposi), Censito in sole 3 bibl. Cos� com'�, meritevole di restauro, ma di lusso.
