The First Edition Library's perfect facsimile of Updike's 1960 original. Both book and dust jacket are in fine condition with no flaws that I can see- looks brand new. The slipcase is in fine condition also. The First Edition Library published exact facsimiles of desirable first editions, down to the smallest details- cloth, paper, binding, and first edition points were identical to the original. The information card (points card) supplied by First Edition Library with information about the writing and publishing of the book is important to collectors and this book has it.
