This collection of essays was the author's third book exploring race and society based on his extensive world travels. Topics covered include the Nordic as ideal, jazz as a musical form degrading to white excellence, race and intelligence/temperament, organizations pushing racial equality, India, tropical peoples, monism, etc. Campbell's previous books were American Race Theorists (1952) and The World of Oneness (1956) and this one was followed by Impressions of a White Tourist in the Caribbean (1961) and The New Mythology of Racial Equality (1963). He was also one of the editors of Western Destiny magazine. 8vo. Black cloth boards, 263 pp., dust jacket. Large Thuderbolt distribution sticker to the bottom of the title page with a penned number to the bottom of the ffep. The dust jacket is slightly rubbed and edge worn.
