The Race

Conceptualizing the two different definitions of race in a unified manner is the most effective analysis of race for the culture. It is essential to realize the marathon in one’s journey throughout life. However, for cultural advancement, it is imperative that we look at our race as a relay race. What we do with the baton in our hands while we run our race will determine where our kids and forthcoming generations will begin their journey. In retrospect, how our ancestors and parents ran their race determined our starting point economically. Racism must be analyzed from a different perspective also. Races that lead economically, health-wise, and educational categories have done so by working together, sticking to cultural values, and realizing that they are on the same team. No race or noteworthy accomplishment happens without coaching. Books, lectures, and history serve as blueprints to advance the culture. Author Gerad Williams contributes to the list of powerful black reads by delivering an action plan and novel that resonates with the black experience worldwide in the powerful book, “The Race.”
