The practice of the Yoga of the audible sound current (the Surat~Shabd Yoga) is a natural discipline of realization as old as the universe. It has been expounded by mystics in all ages, but none perhaps has given as lucid an exposition of this advanced Yoga as Seth Shiv Dyal Singh Ji of Agra, popularly known as Swami Ji. His Sar Bachan in verse form contains some of the boldest and most outspoken statements of the nature of Absolute Reality and Ultimate Truth, as also the practical way of attaining God/Realization. No authentic English translation was so far available. This book now conveys the teachings of Swami Ji in simple English for the benefit of the English speaking world in general, and the Western seekers in particular. This book cites entirely from Sar Bachan (verse form), the most authentic work of Swami Ji. The teachings of Swami Ji are universal and not sectarian in their appeal. They are easy to practice and are based upon natural laws. He has revealed as all practitioners of the mystic way have done that Reality lies within man himself, and that Truth is realized through the practice of the Surat Shabd Yoga. Once the seeker is properly directed and works under the guidance of a living Master, realization is sure to come.
