A book for anyone faced with a midlife divorce, this guide walks readers through surviving the emotional and practical fallout of a marriage's end--and with humor and sympathy, urges readers to see the bright future waiting just ahead. The shock of a divorce can be devastating for women who thought, after decades of marriage, that their relationships were secure, their futures safe. Suzy Brown was one of those women. When her marriage of over twenty-five years ended because of her husband's affair with a younger woman, she found herself overwhelmed by the numbers of women she knew in her same situation. She started a small support group that has proven invaluable, and now she's sharing with readers what she and her friends learned through their experiences of tragedy, healing, and joy.
