A rare example of ephemera, and one that has great usage; it is a 'Style Book' for editorial staff at the BBC, and as such it lays out the various textual recommendations for writers which were current at that time. It is interesting to see which words or subjects were being singled out at that time. Spiral bound, with stiff card covers, this is a well printed and almost mint copy of a book that will interest anyone working in the English language. A very rare example of a scholarly work not intended for commercial distribution, and hard to find in this virtually unused condition.
