Raemil: Darkness Rising: Book One

‘The most delicious souls are coaxed from a living being, one scream at a time…’

Raemil has no idea what she’s in for.

Determined to rescue her missing brother from a particularly vicious mage, rumoured to have taken up residence in the mountains, Raemil runs away from her sheltered life.

Ill-prepared and impatient, she embarks on a journey that is far more dangerous than she imagined. Friendless and awkward, she navigates her way through a land that is falling into madness and decay.

Raemil’s path collides with Lestadt’s. He travels a similar path, but a shared history threatens to tear them apart. Both Raemil and Lestadt walk a dangerous road that will change their lives forever.

Demons, dragons, and insanity spreads. Creatures from her worst nightmares will make Raemil question her own sanity. Will she rescue her brother only to succumb to the horrors beyond his prison?
