The Clarksville, Arkansas, native earned bachelor's degrees in accounting and business law from the Oklahoma School of Business and LaSalle University, plus a master's degree in business administration from Golden State University. Additional years of study paid off with a doctorate from the University of Hawaii.
He was chief accountant at American Airlines for nearly five years.
For twenty-three years he was an agent with the Farmer's Insurance Group, where he set company records for the largest single policy ever sold as well as monthly and annual sales marks. For seven years he was Number One among the company's fourteen thousand agents.
Today, Tom has ten brokers working in his full-service insurance and investment agency, while he personally manages a multimillion dollar portfolio for his clients.
His daily radio and television broadcasts called, "Who Said That?" inspire listeners to reach beyond their present circumstances to be the best they can be. He has appeared on the Christian Broadcasting Network and the Trinity Broadcasting Network and also is in demand as a motivational speaker across the country.
Called the "Man with the Midas Touch" by Voice Magazine, Tom is the author of the bestselling books Who Said That?, Rags to Riches: You Don't Have To Be Poor, The Making of a King: You Can Rise Above Your Circumstances, and The Leding Action Plan for Success. Antioch Christian University recently awarded Tom an Honorary Doctor of Literature Degree in recognition of his contribution to Christian literature.
A member of the Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship since 1955, Tom is International Treasurer of the fellowship, which has more than 4,000 chapters in 150 nations. Within six months of his appointment as Vice President for Membership, the Tulsa FGBMFI Chapter became the fastest growing chapter in the nation.
He also has served on the boards of Kenneth Hagin Ministries, Youth for Christ and other ministries.
