"I am proud to be a Rainbow Boy!"
A Rainbow Book List Selection
When a little boy says he doesn't like rainbows anymore because they make him "different," his parents take him to a place where everyone is a rainbow--a Pride parade! Everywhere he looks, he sees people proudly celebrating their unique identities and styles in a rainbow of color and joy. As he counts the various parade marchers as they go by, he regains confidence in his own rainbow identity. All around he sees pride in every color, shape, and kind--more than he could ever possibly count.
