Raining Violets: The Complete Works of Robert Loveman (Dalton Discovery Series)

For the first time ever, all seven books published by Robert Loveman are presented in one place. Much acclaim found Loveman at the beginning of the 20th Century. His works inspired others like the famous Al Jolson. One of his poems served as the official state song of Georgia for nearly sixty years before being replaced by “Georgia On My Mind” in 1979. Loveman seems to find the joy in the little things that surround us. The complete works of a beloved son of Dalton, Georgia are collected here for your enjoyment and in an effort to bring about the recognition and notoriety that Loveman properly deserves.
